Cash
Management is primarily responsible for the cashier function; billing
and collection of City receivables; and management of the City’s Small Business Loan Fund Program.
The division interacts with various departments by providing billing and
collection services for weed, litter and demolition charges; alarm
permits and fees; city damages; alcoholic beverage licenses; landfill
disposal fees; emergency medical service fees; small business loans;
housing rehabilitation loans; and other miscellaneous fees. The central
cashier serves walk-in customers paying these types of fees, as well as
water bills. They handle mail payments and receive funds collected in
all outlying City departments.
